Isolation differs from solitude
One rips us apart from others destructively
The other brings us closer to God
From the outside
They may look the same
The body takes up the same space
And goes through the same motions
But on the inside
Our hearts know the difference
They cry out constantly
Looking for the Connection
For His voice
Solitude is a place to be healed
To search for the Truth
In simplicity
In timelessness
God works his wonders
If only we will trust
