Do you bring forth good fruit? What you do, does it bring good fruit results? Bringing forth good fruit and good results is being positioned in line with the word of God. Luke 13:6-9 reads: 6 -7Then he told them a story: "A man had an apple tree planted in his front yard. He came to it expecting to find apples, but there weren't any. He said to his gardener, 'What's going on here? For three years now I've come to this tree expecting apples and not one apple have I found. Chop it down! Why waste good ground with it any longer? 8 -9"The gardener said, 'Let's give it another year. I'll dig around it and fertilize, and maybe it will produce next year; if it doesn't, then chop it down.'"

We must bridle our tongue to our own body. when your life is not going just right, examine your tongue and think about what you are saying. Does it bless you or curse you? If you want success stop claiming defeat by the words you speak. James 3:3 says: a bit in the horses mouth can control the whole horse, a small rutter can control the whole ship. The mouth controls the strength of the whole body. When you speak weakness you will be weak, and when you speak strength you will be strong. When you have strength, you will have good direction. The storm cannot catch you when you speak and do the right thing. But, if you have loose lips and speak the wrong things, it just may not go very well. As you go, the Lord will show you what to say. So yield your mouth to the Lord. Pray everyday that God will guard your mouth, so you will not sin with your mouth. For out of the heart the mouth speaks. Choose your words wisely. Stop believing your feelings and start believing in God and His word. For His word is good information, and His word is a revelation. Talk back to the devil, you are forgiven and God's chosen ones. Be violent towards the devil, because the violent will take it by force. Acts 10:38 says: Love is the theme of Christianity. Whatever it costs, you need to reach out to people with the love that is within you. Don't be selfish and self-centered, give of yourself. You will have Peace when you stop asking why. Make a choice & trust God. Enjoy the ride. Turn the bad things in your life around and make it a blessing for someone else. Make a decision to forgive conscience or unconscience of the things that people do, for strife will hinder your prayer life. We need to live deeper and get over ourselves. Matthew 6:12 , 14-15 Read. There are six ways to detect unforgiveness: 1. sees other's sin and not their own, keeps score 2. not getting what others have, complaining 3. division and separation 4. alienates 5. accuses and exposes 6. causes anger and jealousy Like I said previously, "live deeper and get over yourself!" |

In your life there are many things that control you, and they will never end unless you take control. Here are some examples of control issues in your life: 1.) When people control you with their words, such as you should do this and you should say that. Don't look for their approval but look for the approval of God. Strive for a balance in your life. Romans 14:12 says: ... And so each of us shall give an account of himself to God. (no one else.) 2.) Your addictions can control you such as; overeating, TV, smoking, gambling, alcohol and much, much more. Be tuned into the Christ within you. II Corinthians 10:4 says: ...For our weapons of warfare are not physical but they are mighty before God for the over-throw and destruction of strong-holds. 3.) Then there is the emotional issues that control you, such as; criticism, anger, fear, jealousy, blaming, and negativity. Don't allow these things to enter in because it does not produce good fruit in your life. Know that God has created you, and He loves you. Phillipians 4:13 says: ...I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. When you change the things you allow your mind to dwell on, you are on your way to greater freedom, wholeness, and victory. God has written His thoughts for us in His book ( the bible), so we must choose to examine our own thoughts and actions in the light of God's word. Always be willing to submit our thoughts to His thoughts, knowing that His are best. Written By: Karen Rossen at 3rd Day Ministries |

Prayer is very powerful, so when bad things come out of your mouth, pray that God will guard your mouth, so that only good things come from it. As 1 Cor. 10:8 says: We must not gratify evil desires. You cannot enter into His presence with praise if you are fault-finding, grumbling and complaining. If you have more petitions than praise, you are out of order. Your words that you speak are very important. Are they in the flesh or of the Spirit? Choose your words before you speak.
