Our 2011 "New Year's" Message from Pastor Rebecca St. Louis
The number "11" is a number of disorder, and disassembly; it is part of the preparation for the better things that are to come.
Things do not mature and become perfect in a straight line. there are seasons of tearing down, rooting out and apparent destruction. These seasons are not always an attack of the enemy, they are often a part of the plan of God in bringing his Kingdom and its perfection to the earth.
the Prophecy in Jeremiah 1:10 that appoints him "to uproot and tear down, to destroy and overthrow to build and to plant..." ,
the Parable of the Wheat and the Tares (Matthew 13:18-30 ) that allows both the Wheat (Sons of the Kingdom) and Tares (Sons of the Evil one) to grow together until the Harvest (End),
and the Destruction of the Temple(s) in Jerusalem (Matthew 24:1-8 ).
Listen to this powerful message for the full revelation of this important principle in God's Kingdom
Desperation -you can make a decision to become constantly desperate for God, it doesn't necessarily depend upon your present circumstances or situation. Desperation is the breeding ground that produces Faith.
Know the Author of your Faith. - You cannot just conjure Faith up out of nothing. Faith comes from Hope and hope comes from intimacy with the Father. a double minded man receives nothing.
An Attitude of Faith - This is the result of the first two things. We are not called to live in our situation, we are called to live in Christ, speaking the blessing and not the curse.
Putting action to your Faith - Faith without works is dead.Anything is possible with God

By Pastor Tom Marxen So often people are taught to "examine themselves" to determine whether they are worthy to receive communion. Jesus did not come for the righteous but for the sinners. We need to recognize the completeness of Jesus sacrifice and eat our eucharist with joy recognizing how worthy and complete Jesus offering was and is on our behalf. This is a liberating and insightful message for anyone hesitant or confused about the sacrament or practice we call "communion". Listen Now.

We don't like to think of it this way, but Christmas was messy.
Christmas is a picture of our walk with God and tend to sterilize it, dress it up like a perfect figurine and display our best on the mantle for our friends.
It's not about a Holiday that takes place in the wintertime.
It's about our salvation where Christ our Savior is born to us as individuals. Messy individuals at that.
Listen as Pastor Rebecca St. Louis compares the Christmas birth of her first son, Ian, to the historical birth of our messiah, Jesus in a manger at Bethlehem and the necessary birth of the Son of God into our hearts.
Two times Jesus braided a whip of cords and drove out the moneychangers and the merchandisers from the Temple on Jerusalem. Is this the God of Love who is a friend to sinners?
Be assured that God is not out to beat us up, but we are his temple and he will zealously attack anything that substitutes or interferes with His full provision for our lives
Zechariah 14:21 says that in the end... "there shall no longer be a Canaanite in the house of the Lord of hosts."
Listen as Pastor Tom unveils the mystery this scripture and these event. Learn how Jesus actions relate directly to our lives and the condition of our hearts.
