1st: Who am I? (or What is my identity?) 2nd: Where am I going? (or What is my Destiny?)
At creation, there was no hindrance between God and man. Adam got all his information about who he was and what his purpose was directly from God who is Spirit.
God's Spirit spoke directly to Adam's Spirit.
After the fall this path of communication was destroyed and we started getting our information from what we experienced in the world instead of from God Himself. God's character and position has never changed, but now we tend to define God from the image we perceive Him to be based on the information we receive from the world.
The awesome redemption of us through Jesus Christ restores the Ancient Path that Adam knew.
Any time we grant authority for our identity and destiny to be defined by anything or anyone other than Jesus Christ, we make them a "god" to us instead of the real God of the Bible.
Listen as Rebecca reveals this subtle, but powerful form of deception and be set free to discover your true identity and live your destiny in Christ.

What is in your house that is not birthed of God but you argue and contend that it should be?
Ishmael was the first son born to Abraham through his wife’s servant Hagar, but He was not the son of the Covenant, he was the result of Abram’s best effort to make the promised son appear.
God has "heard" Ishmael
But God has not promised Ishmael.
The Church is full of Ishmaels, it is more common problem that what we think. Like Abraham, we struggle with the Lord that our best efforts at helping Him fulfill the promise should be good enough.
But there comes atime to put Ishmael out,
Abraham was saddened when He sent Him away.
Ishmael was around a long time before he had to go, maybe we get to thinking that it is OK for Him to hang around and at least share with Isaac, but the truth is that they will always be against each other.
Abraham was sexually "dead"
Sarai was sexually "dead"
The Life of Isaac came directly from the covenant words of God.
Now more than ever we must be aware of the power of our words and the true authority of the Believer. But getting to that place where we begin to function in the fullness of these things requires knowing the Lord not just taking His gifts and benefits.
When you seek Him with all your heart you will find something deeper than the Gifts.
